You know those games on Newgrounds with cheap, stupid, and unfair difficulty? Why So Evil is EVERYTHING wrong with those games, but about 1000 times worse.
This game claims as a selling point that it's 'hard'... but on the scale of real difficulty, it's NOT AT ALL. This game's difficulty is based on Luck, seeing as some levels have objects that won't outright murder you, and other levels have the same objects, but this time they WILL murder you.
It also doesn't help that I'd rather have a stroke than have to deal with the keyboard controls, because, while it is playable on a gamepad, if you use a keyboard, you will be fighting the controls the whole way through.
Also, on the non-gameplay side of things, that music is ear-gratingly awful, and the visuals are on par with any early PS1 (PlayStation 1) game.... YEP.
This game has 50 levels, but why beat all of them (unless you're a completionist)? It only takes 1-2 levels to see EVERYTHING wrong with this game.
