Oh hey, didn't see ya there. Long time, no see.
It's been a couple of weeks and I'm starting to wonder if you guys thought I have dropped the game. This is not so. I've just been really busy.
I am halfway done with the new build. The main reasons why it has been taking so long is that 1) It's the end of the school year and I am busting my ass off in finishing all-year and end-of-year assignments and studying for finals and 2) I have been trying out new game concepts and working on them a little bit. I plan on announcing one of them soon.
So a little bit of stuff has happened. First of all, RaptorJesus Games has a Steam group now (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_Me_U1_K3BqZNNhrcPbbjw). It's just another way to talk to you guys and to claim our presence on Steam, if we were to get Volliod greenlit (more on that later). Second, a good friend of mine that I know personally wants to help work on this project. So, now I guess RaptorJesus Games isn't a one-man team anymore. He is a much better modeler than I am and he does some Unity work too. You can call him Connor, or Maestro works too (sort of from his gaming channel: Youtube.com).
So, about the Steam Greenlight thing. It will probably happen and it will happen when the pre-alpha is almost ready for early access. That way, we can have decent game footage. For the most part, we will try to scrap up the $100 ourselves, but donations would help us out a lot (I will try to set up a PayPal system at some point).
So yeah. Volliod is still my main focus and I will work really hard to make sure it gets updated. Cheers!
Can you link the steam group for me?
whoops, sorry Steamcommunity.com
