Description

To the left of Spirit in this image is a regular bug enemy (called "Thug Bug"). They're the Goonba's of the game, but something weird is happening. It's blinking Red and has a mess of square shaped particles like you see on most Red color objects... what does this mean? It means it can only be attacked via Red Attacks! So if you try using the Bow or the Pick-ax, it won't have any effect! This means enemies must be attacked with specific attacks depending on their shield. There are Red, Yellow, Blue, and White shields. White shielded enemies... are invincible to all attacks. However all shielded enemies can be jumped on, if possible. This adds a whole new layer of strategy to the combat system in Vivid Wolf!
