So, I figured out how symmetrical hard points work because I actually opened my eyes while taking a look at the .ini file. After that, I set to work lining out the AST-21's hardpoints, but I find myself having an issue: in order to align the AST-21's hard points to underneath the engine nacelles, I need to both change their direction and adjust their roll, of which, I'm not sure if or how I can do either. Egg plane mutator! The direction is a normalized vector, there is no problem if you set the values higher than one. I’ve added for the next update the possibility to make loadout mods without the need to edit the existing files and without the risk of being overwritten by the next update. |

Well, there's a slight problem, I don't need to adjust the weapon by itself (that's easy enough) what I need to tweak is hard points in the same way as the SpecialWeapon, so in other words I need to orientate the hard point by itself. Here's what I've got right now when I prayed the hard point might align with the missile: If it worked this way, basically I'd need to do this:
(Ignore those direction values, copy and paste does not agree with the forum this morning) And could you at some point strip the AIM-54 hardpoint off of the wing gloves, make them their own, and add in the AIM-7 and AIM-9 hard points as options? I.imgur.com And I've got another question: if I drop the Tomcat's gun load out to 675 rounds, is that going to cause crashing in multiplayer? Edited by: Boogie_Van -- Swing-Wing Crazy |
