They're enough of a challenge just to shoot down in skirmish mode. I put like 15 of them flying while I was on the Su-33 and they just clump together behind you (even though they're not that maneuverable or fast) making it almost impossible to shoot one down. I could only do it if I gained some distance and charged into the flock.

I don't think current engine would properly support NR's laser cannon. Unless it's incorporated as a special weapon with a targeting module, as it's difficult to hit anything with the primary weapon (guns) right now.
Personally I would prefer to see something more conventional at this stage, like XFA-36A or Su-43.

By the way. I've tried using your pack with the latest FSX: Steam Edition. Everything works, but textures are not displayed. Any idea what's up?
Seems to be the DX10 mode, but other planes work.
It's the DX10 mode because that pack is from my FS2004 days, and the FS2004 MDL format doesn't support textures in DX10.

Heh, I didn't think this would be on the to-do list. Armed it with R-60s and it's an interesting aircraft to say the least. :P
Also, out of curiosity, but you ever considered bringing your FSX aircraft (S-46 Orca, SX series, XSF-37, etc) to Vector Thrust?
It wasn't. I made it in like 5 hours yesterday from a random spike of will.
They'd have to be remade, but it's possible that that will happen in the long term.

Give it some missiles with multicolored trails and we can recreate that one scene from Macross Plus.
I can't help but to think that an armed version of this thing would be really interesting as a fallback for the Last Man Standing game mode. Give it a single missile pylon and fly around in it after you've been eliminated from the match.
It would give people something to do once they've been eliminated, at least.
So that the player who made a kill with this can respawn back to the match?
