In the post-apocalyptic zombified world of "Unliving", you can choose from a number of scenarios to start the game in. From there, you must survive, fight, learn and adapt to the new world, making allies and enemies out of any other survivors. Brutalise and Bully, or clear out sections of the world and defend them, offering a save haven to those who would seek it. The game itself is a user-interface based Rogue game with graphic overhauls to be introduced later on.

Get some intel on your current location! The current accuracy is for development purpose, but the horde population shows "location/area".

This means that there is a limited amount of zombies in each location and each area. Zombies will "Migrate" or "Drift" between locations.

An area may be a "Urban" or "Countryside", and in those areas are locations, such as Hospitals, apartment blocks, skyscrapers, sewers, and so forth.

You can explore locations to find items till the area is 100% explored. You can also "Clear out" zombies to make an area safer - and to keep more zombies from drifting in, you can barricade the entrances.

Even the entrances have their own details! Cracks in the walls that you can squeeze through, holes, doors, double doors, archways, windows and general gaps that can be passed through.
