Time Our Father is our unique twist on 2D puzzles games. The player controls a ship with the awesome ability to time travel short lengths of time. Using this interesting mechanic the player is faced with brain bending puzzles and must use their wits and the time travel to defeat enemies and bosses. Time our father is being development using Unity for PC, Mac and Linux.

Time our father's time travel mechanic really has never been done before, atleast I've never seen an incarnation of it. The newer (awesomely fun) puzzle game "Talos Principle" has something that is similar, where you are able to replay a set time period of actions which is super fun and close to what I'm doing but it's not exactly time travel as I've designed it.

The raw power of unlimited player time travel has actually created a fairly difficult problem. Creating and designing difficult puzzles using time travel is incredibly tough. In order to help overcome this difficulty I've been applying time travel to traditional puzzle game mechanics. The movable physics box placed on a switch, the avoidable hazardous obstacles, or the simple timing puzzle, all seem so easy when the player is allowed unlimited time travel. However the newest mechanic I've implemented, reflected light activates a switch, feels just right.

The player has an item which allows them to reflect an emitted light. Using this power and time travel the player can bend light around obstacles in the world in awesome and unique ways and really opens up the design space. I'm really happy with how it's turning out and it feels super fun. I'm incredibly excited to build this into some new puzzles!
