The Matrix Unplugged is the only Matrix-themed, text-based MMORPG of its kind in existence. This is a feature which I was working on today, but which isn't actually in the game yet (though it will be soon, once I'm confident that I've ironed out all of the bugs). Essentially, it allows you to add other players as Friends, just like you can with any social networking site, in order to enhance the social/multiplayer aspect of the game. Here's me testing out the beta version of this feature.
