Holy mother of italian plumbers! It's been a busy week for sure. Finally the time has come for another update, so let's get straight to it!

I present to you, the reason why the update post is two days late:

I've finally done it. I've bled, my computer has nearly melted, but it's here. Not perfect, but it will do.
I found myself between a rock and a hard place as I finally committed to produce the promised gameplay video for this very update. It's my first time using proper video editing software, sadly my rig was barely powerful enough to edit the footage; Short of performance, I had to rely on a kind friend to record the footage for me.

As hinted last time, addressing the shortcomings of the AI was my secondary goal for the week. Turns out it wasn't so bad after all, a few changes and they're finally able to pick targets properly. They still think they can shoot things through walls, but they'll be taught soon enough.

Now for my plans regarding release:
It still looks like I'll be ready with the alpha version by the end of summer. It's more than likely that multiplayer and a bunch of modding features will be cut initially, these are to be added later on. With that notion, the alpha is mainly intended for those who want to support an indie project that is as "garage" as it can get, instead of buying it solely for the entertainment value.

That's it for today's update. A heads up, I'll be away from my usual workplace for about a week, so little to no progress is to be expected until then, as the laptop I'll be using cannot even run the game in its current form.

Stay strong,
-Dan
