Trolls would be larger , much larger, or should be ;)
That looks more like a Kobold to me.
Akalonor is correct it is the smaller green cousin.

gotto ask, are the trolls hazard you have to avoid or something you can/have to fight?
For the most part kobolds are mischievous creatures that usually run away from a fight in large groups and unless threatened.
i think it looks like a goblin
