Hello there guys 'n gals!
I can't thank everyone enough for the overwhelming support and praise we've recieved so far for Super Distor Horzions! Even John Romero, co-founder of ID Software (Responsible for DOOM, Wolfenstein 3D and Quake) said some really nice things about Distro!
One major part of feedback we've received for Super Distro however is that the current animations seem a little... off. This is because we are using place-holder animations for the main character Distro. And we want to change that!
This position is for an animator to create some new root animations (Not in-place) for a Sonic the hedgehog-style toon character.
The required animations would be:
Idle,
Running,
Really Fast Running,
Jump,
Double Jump,
Jump Attack,
Walking Attack,
Running Attack,
Dead,
Currently, we are preparing a very in-depth IndieGoGo campaign. If we didn't raise the required funds, we are already on Desura (And have begun to see a small amount of money come in, which has gone back into Development). If in the case we didn't receive the funding we need, we would work on a revenue-share basis. This would be confirmed by a legally binding contract, to help settle your mind on "What if X goes wrong .etc". Please note, that no matter what, you'll receive payment for your work. You are more then welcome to ask more information about this.
What is Super Distro Horizons?
Super Distro Horizons Vs. Galaximo's Army is a mix of classic platforming titles. Some call it a 3D Collecathon platformer, inspired by the good ol' N64 platformers, others call it a Dreamcast-era Platformer. Us? We call it Super Distro, which is in development for Windows, Mac, Linux, Ouya and Wii U.
Taking place over 9 different dimensions, Super Distro Horizons will have you travelling to many bizarre and unique dimensions in your quest to put a stop to Galaximo's evil schemes! You'll be travelling to jungle dimensions, haunted dimensions, video-game dimensions and many, many more!
