Nice pace there, I'm sure it will be exhilarating to play. Can the goalie catch the puck?
No, and I think I might keep it this way. I understand in real hockey the goalie can catch the puck, and then pass it or hold onto it to reset and force another faceoff. However, this, to me, breaks up the action and slows things down. Having constant ricochets makes the pace quite a bit more intense.
I figured that was your intent and I agree completely. And if it could be caught it should not happen very often.
Yup definitely. Eventually the goalie will defend goalie's crease, and knock back players who get too close too, to prevent too much crowding around it and players shooting from absolute point blank range.
