History

In 2022, a two-person team with zero background in game development united in Austin, Texas, fueled by a shared dissatisfaction with the repetitive patterns seen in many contemporary games. They embarked on an ambitious journey to challenge the status quo of the tower defense genre, marrying real-time strategy (RTS) elements with minimalist design. Their united front is not just a venture, but a passionate endeavor rooted in a childhood love for gaming and a fresh perspective on the possibilities within established gaming genres.

Making their debut in the gaming world, they showcased Stellar Watch for the first time to the public at the Taipei Game Show in February 2023. This initial appearance marked the beginning of a journey characterized by unyielding passion, continuous learning, and the inevitable challenges that come with integrating complex and innovative elements into a game.

Building on the momentum from their initial showcase, the team is gearing up to spotlight Stellar Watch at the upcoming PAX West's Rising Showcase and Tokyo Game Show's Selected Indie 80 in September 2023. Every step of this undertaking is a testament to their belief in the transformative power of a fresh perspective, bringing a new level of engagement and excitement to a well-trodden genre.
