The Star Wars: Bloodlines project has been restarted. It's not quite back to the full speed ahead momentum it had a few months ago, but the pace is quickening.
Episode 2 has been finished except for a few minor changes and some more testing. Maps for episode 3 are done, but the new actor types have not yet been scripted.
As for minimum requirements, one of our test boxes is a Windows 95 machine with a Pentium I and 48MB RAM and it gets around 30-40 FPS and is very playable. Modern machines get around 200-300 FPS.
Is this Realy a Star Wars Yoda Desktop Adventures Mod ?
I cant believe it, very nice, i love it !
I just played a Demo of the Original Game 7 Years Ago.. Now i can play some kind of Full Version ! ^^
Well, it's not a Yoda Stories mod, but rather a new engine that uses YS graphics (plus some new stuff). It is kind of like a mix between the older Zelda RPGs and YS. Glad you like what you see. :)
hehe
moddable?
That's sort of up in the air at the moment, but it is being considered. I would like to do another game with this engine before I release a moddable version, but we'll see. :)
In reference to the engine, there are at least two projects in the earliest conceptual stages of (meaning mostly in our heads) that we may still create with the engine. It would probably be best to keep it under wraps until we've finished using it ourselves. At the moment, there isn't any sort of help associated with the editor, and it would take some time to figure it out if didn't know what everything did to begin with (at least for me it would).
I don't know anything about scripting, but that aspect of the project isn't editable through the editor, and I'm not sure what form the files will be in when the project is released, but I guess we'll see...that's not really my area of expertise...
Glad you guys like the looks of things so far...hope it's everything you're hoping for when it's finished... :)
