Star-Twine is an abstract real-time strategy game in which you control a point of light created by a dying star. Battles unfold on sprawling three-dimensional maps as you collect energy and build structures to attack your opponent. Chill out to the atmospheric visuals and soundtrack as you plan your next move.

I’m excited to announce that Star-Twine will be available for download on April 29th, 2011.

The full version will be priced at $9.99 CAD and will include a tutorial, single player skirmish mode, online multiplayer and LAN play. There will also be a free demo available for download.

Star-Twine will be available through star-twine.net as well as GamersGate.com and Desura on launch. A Steam release could be a possibility in the future but it will not be launching on Steam.
