I think the sound could certainly use some work. However, judging the stance mechanic itself, I love that addition. I think have a secondary stance could add a lot of depth to the combat. Especially if you're doing it in a 'heavy' stance and 'light' stance, which seems to be the case. I love when combat requires the player to think quickly about how they are going to attack, it makes the combat a lot more interesting than button mashing.

We're working on the sounds! We haven't touched them since august, but they'll change really soon.
Exactly, we're going for that dynamic - five different stances, each one with different effects and stats, and you can combine them however you want. Perhaps you've played phantasy star online 2? we're going for something a little similar to that kind of combat - a strategic one.
