Sovereign is a hunting and survival game designed to be a relaxing experience. Similar to real life sport hunting the challenge in Sovereign comes from actually hitting your target. Difficulty is left to the game player in that you can walk up and smack your target with an arrow at close range, but it's more challenging and rewarding to take your time and nail that target from a good distance. The choice is yours. Sovereign also adds the additional element of survival and inventory management. You must keep yourself alive by collecting food from the animals that you kill and retrieve items such as wood to create new arrows so the hunt can continue. Sovereign is an enjoyable game to work on so I expect to continue development of this game by adding additional environments, animals and features as time progresses so check back!

Reminds me of Minecraft.... but it's shaping up to be alot better :)
Someone else mentioned that to me... I've never played Minecraft heh, though I did watch part of a Minecraft gameplay trailer after the last person mentioned it to me.
I like the screens, but the cave looks a bit "Smooth" to be a cave imo.
The original cave was a bit more jagged, but I had trouble getting Blender to light map it properly until I smoothed it out. I probably just need more experience baking lightmaps with Blender.
Pretty neat! I like the hunting aspects, and the flame arrow is sweet :D
Yeah I was pretty happy when I finished the new arrow upgrades. I'm probably going to make the upgrades better in the next release. I plan on making it so that you don't actually have to hit an animal when using poison or fire, if you're close enough they'll get poisoned or light up.
"it's more challenging and rewarding to take your time and nail that target from a good distance"
Shouldn't it actually be the other way around? Getting near wildlive unnoticed is normally much harder than nailing it from a distance.
You know I've never actually gone hunting :P
That would be a cool aspect, rewards for getting within a certain range without scaring them off.
Why is everyone associating survival aspects with Minecraft? Why don't they travel to australia or something and tell the aborigines they are a rip off of minecraft. Sorry for the rant, but I dont get people sometimes. You have a good and unique game going on.
Thanks friend. I am of the impression that if you make the game you want to make then your game will be every bit as unique as you are.
I never found the Cave?
