Lead Technical Artist (MTLTA)
The Lead Technical Artist will report to the Art Director.
Key Responsibilities:
* Successful completion of all art within a prescribed project style.
* Translating and transcribing scientific materials provided by the Geospatial Engineer and partners to 2D and 3D representations of real time environments.
* Assisting the Technical Lead and Sr Developer in compiling project assets.
* Development of website materials including web development and CSS design.
* Development and design of graphical user interfaces.
* Developing new agile workflow processes to enhance production and design.
* Acting as a Texture Lead Artist when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
* 5+ years of 3D art creation experience.
* 5+ years of technical development experience including knowledge of (C++/C#/Java/PHP).
* Extensive portfolio with a focus on development of virtual environments and assets.
* Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences with a focus on 3D/2D interfaces.
* 3D character modeling and texturing experience.
* 3D Studio Max, Maya, and expert Photoshop/digital painting experience.
* Knowledge of database engineering, networking, and an understanding of packet transfer in real time virtual environments.
More weight will be given to applicants who can demonstrate strength and understanding of geospatial environments.
