Societatem is a Singleplayer & Multiplayer tactical FPS. It features infantry combat with a class system, vehicle combat which currently includes jeeps, tanks and helicopters, and specialized game modes such as Takeover and Infiltration. The infantry features advanced movement such as parkour which includes flipping and climbing over obstacles, leaning around walls and rolling in and out of cover.

CHANGELOG:

- New options menu, with GRAPHICS, AUDIO, WINDOW, and CONTROLS tabs
GRAPHICS: many graphics settings
AUDIO: currently only master volume
WINDOW: window resolution, fullscreen
CONTROLS: FOV, Sensitivity, invert helicopter controls, etc

- New Weapons and Items:
MK23 Pistol
M249 LMG
C4, throw with right click and detonate with left click
Medkit, throw at teammates to heal them, can be picked back up

- New grenades:
Fragmentation grenade
Smoke grenade
Flash grenade (WIP)

- New vehicle sounds based on the blade rotation speed/engine RPM of the vehicle

- New parachutes, visible both in first person and in third person, deployable once per life at altitudes of above 20 meters

- New player hit detection system, you can hit the arms, legs, chest and head, dealing various amounts of damage.

- Killfeed, shows "You killed [NAME]" when you kill them

- Vehicles can now be disabled. When disabled, a red flashing [WARNING] will appear on your screen and your vehicle movement will be very limited based on the vehicle type

- Green triangles and names on teammates, you can see this through objects

- New helicopter shooting system, it now shoots 8 rounds in a burst then reloads for 2.5 seconds

- Very WIP destruction system, walls can be destroyed with C4 or a rocket launcher such as an RPG

- New Infiltration game mode:
2 teams, 1 attacking team and 1 defending team
Defending team has a randomly chosen commander. They must defend this commander. If the commander dies, the defending team loses. If all of the attacking team dies, the attacking team loses. Then the round will end. There are 9 rounds in a match.
There are cameras inside the defending team base mounted outside. The defending team can view real-time footage from these cameras. The attacking team can shoot them out with RPGs or C4
There are many destructible walls in the map to provide a tactical feel to the game mode.
Both teams only spawn with a pistol, but there are guns on the floor. This is to encourage teams to make up new tactics as the rounds progress on, as the weapons will be lying on dead bodies outside.
When you die, instead of dying, you fall to the floor and make a "[REVIVE]" appear on your teammates' screens. If they heal you with a Medkit, you are revived. However, you can be killed if the enemy shoots you one more time.
