Soccertron has been released for PC operating systems (Windows, Linux and OSX) but its main target is really micronconsoles. Why is that? Because Soccertron is meant to be played with two players and there are more local multiplayer friends in consoles that in PC. Given the amount of money that is required for publishing on big consoles, I see microconsoles as a great alternative that is hungry for multiplayer games.
Tomorrow I'm heading to Gamelab in Barcelona to meet some great fellow gamedevs. When I get back home, I'll start working on publishing on those platforms.
What do you think? Do you see the OUYA, Fire TV & Gamestick as viable alternatives?
