Given that Skyrunner is now finished to the standard we had originally pitched to our peers at the start of September last year; we are debating whether or not to continue working upon it.
We've been told to enter it into competitions to see if anyone will fund us to make it in its entirety. As it stands the story is left on a cliff hanger where Rau is about to set out on his journey. We've so much more we would add to the game if we kept making it and what has already been made would serve as the prologue section to the gameplay.
Currently it has been compared to the original Jak and Daxter, but if we were to continue working on it, we believe it would resemble a Legend of Zelda type of game; go to the temple, get the weapon, defeat the big boss, purify the land etc.
On the other hand, we've been very passionate about alternative ideas throughout the development cycle of Skyrunner. For me personally, I believe these new projects are beginning to take shape and will serve greatly to my Portfolio.
So what I'm asking is; if you've played our game what do you think of it? and if so, would you like to see more of it?
