A scrolling shooter I'm developing for fun, practice, and profit. It's designed as the first in a series, telling a character-driven drama. The story follows players of a new hit scrolling shooter series. It'll have unlockable game modes and characters, such as boss rush and score attack. I'm aiming for six levels playable, with a boss unique to each level. I want to pay homage to many great SHMUPs throughout history, particularly ones I personally love. The story will be told through a visual novel interface.
The second video I'm posing, here you go, the Score Attack mode. Tomorrow I'm finishing boss rush, if I can. If I do so, I'm releasing the beta. Additionally, I'll attempt to submit the game to Good Old Games and Desura for preorder or sommat. Still really fast. I'll upload a slower video for Score Attack tomorrow.
