Hi.
I played a little on SilverQuest and it's very interesting but there is something very frustrating, weapons and armors are destroyed very very fast. Is there any changes coming soon about it? Or never? Is there some items that can be wear a lot of time far in the game?

Hi there, Goons!
Thank you for trying SQ, and I'm glad you like it. As for your question, the equipment you're probably using is very low level, so it's meant to be weak and break easily. As you progress in the game, you'll be able to wear higher quality equipment. HOWEVER, we'll take a look at the items' attributes, just to make sure we haven't gone overboard with them. We could alter this a little so they won't break so quickly.
Thank you for your feedback, and stay tuned to see how we address this issue! :)

Thank you for your answer! I will try to get far and far to see some other things then. I thought there was a problem. The only thing is for now, Not much people ar e playing and it's hard to make a group. I hope it's temporary but is there something you will try to do against the difficulties from solo play? (sorry for my english)

You' re welcome.

We're currently working on a new, more community oriented Web site, which will include guides and FAQ sections. We're hoping that this, along with more advertising, will not only bring more active players, but also strengthen the community and make it easier to find a group to stick with. We'll look into adding more items and areas for solo players, though.

I recommend sticking to the fields and the forest for now, until your reach about level 8. These areas are easy enough to solo. :) Also, pay attention to the items that your enemies drop when killed, and talk to the NPCs. Some of them have quests to offer, and will give you something for your loot. With the money you can get from this, you'll be able to buy better equipment, potions, and spells, in case you' re a mage. :) Always remember to stay well equipped!

Your game seems like it wasn't quite ready to be released in my opinion. I love the idea of forming groups but these games don't get large numbers anymore, so its not a very good idea imo.. So its unlikely that players will find "a group". Very creative map style though. The game definately has potential. But like I said it doesn't seem quite ready, definately in need of a more explanatory newbie area. And i suggest making specific class npc's so players know who to buy from. For example (red) warriors will look for the red npc's so they know that they buy new things from them. Mages will look for blue npc's and theives will look for green ones. Pretty simple add on that i think will cause less confusion and less frustration from your "active players".

I agree... this is really annoying. High level items should not get destroyed. I don't want to make my way through an epic dungeon lasting 1 hour just to get a shield that will break tomorrow. It's a (sort of) unique concept, but it just detracts from the game. The only way I can see it working is if when it reaches 0 durability you can pay to have it fixed. I even got an item with 250 durability and it still got destroyed very fast.
