In Sewer Rat you take control of a rat running in a maze-like sewer. Navigate the sewer as quick as possible in order to collect pieces of cheese before other rats do. The first rat to collect three pieces wins the game. Lurking crocodiles will quickly attack distracted rats that wander to close. Rats will try to gain an advantage in the race to the cheese by kicking you into the murky sewer water. You and the other rats will find ordinary objects that you can use to your advantage: candies to increase your speed, throwable firecrackers, crocodile repellent and even area traps for hindering rivals. The game is in Alpha version and final art assets still have to be done. I am currently still looking for an artist interested in jumping into the project. Please contact me if interested. A new Sewer Rat has been uploaded to share these weeks improvements.

From play testers feedback and people suggestions, updates has been done to Sewer Rat. New in this build:

  • Help system that explains each item usage when first picked up.
  • The cheese has now a minimum consumption time of 3 seconds.
  • Fixed cheese colliding box when carried by a rat. This did not allow other rats to kick properly the rat carrying the cheese.
  • Spray does not get consumed now when player jumps correctly.
  • Implemented transparent cheese when player picks cheese up in order to enhance visibility.
  • Fixed several minor bugs.
  • Added some background images to menus.
  • Added Title and credits to main screen.

Please note, that all graphic assets in this game are placeholders. I am currently looking for an artist to help me finish this game. Please contact if interested.
