Just grabbed a trial of unity pro, baked a normal map for the environment, dropped in a couple of lights one casting shadows to see what sarah would look like. and I think I preffered it before, which is just as well as this runs super slow on my PC. if I was to work on a high-end version of the game though I'm sure I could be very happy with a subtle version of the fancy lighting effects.
liked the more softer look before, bump would be ok, if not that shiny metal look.. I would be happy with old look and maybe bit more contrast/ sharpness and no stars in the doors :P
yeah, tbh I much prefer a more subtle look than this too, and as for the stars in the doors, they are totally going, I promise :D
This looks like a really awesome project with too little art direction!
