This time: Improving the existing
A new look
During the last updates, we mainly pushed the development of new content to add a few variations to the game and the gameplay. For this week, we decided to take a step back and have a look at all the things that are not yet running so smoothly. First thing that can be noticed: The game's got a new look! We decided to abandon the complete old-school look and added some shiny textures. Tweaking settings for light and shaders a bit, we also could improve the overall game performance and frame rate.
A new look: Ringblazer looks more vivid, and runs faster, too!
Gameplay Adjustments
But that's not all! We have also made slight adjustments to the gameplay, which make learning the game easier. The most obvious one is reducing the speed at which the ball is travelling in the first levels of Adventure mode. Now, you've got some more time to get used to the controls, chase your first coins and proceed through the galaxies!
To complete this week's package, we have created a new trailer to show off the new looks and also tell people about the many new cool features that made it into the game since the release almost 3 months ago.
