Pokémon3D is a recreation of the old Pokémon games Gold/Silver by Nintendo/GameFreak (but, of course this game has nothing to do with them ;) You're the hero of the game, and as usual, you want to be the best Pokémon trainer of all time. So let's go, visit some grass and catch, battle and defeat wild Pokémon, explore towns and routes in 3D, collect items and Pokémon, play with a friend in LAN co-op and much more. The game is currently under development and features are added frequently.

I am trying to get this game to work on my mac. I currently don't have parallels (my version was to old and stoped working with mountain lion) and I don't have boot camp. I have downloaded wine & wineholder but that doesn't seem to work either. Is there a Mac download somewhere? |

If your in WINE you will need to run the mono210, XNA31, and XNA40 libraries with it. I dunno if your WINE is the same as Linux but that will get you to the point where I am at with WINE in Ubuntu. You may run into an error that I have listed in this Install forum. IF you do get it to work with WINE please tell me exactly what you did outside what I just suggested and I will try to emulate it over here. EDIT: Those are Wine Tricks. I have no clue if MAC has the same wine tricks set up as Linux which they came as Libraries in the PlayonLinux front end I am using for WINE. If you just got regular old wine then these are the libraries you need to add under Configure Wine>Libraries. mscoree, msvcr80. Both of these need to be edited by click on one and clicking edit. When you do this click "builtin, native". Also make sure the operating system is set to Windows XP. If this here does not at least get the launcher launched for you than you will have to find wind tricks or something to that effect for MAC to run what I said above. If it does get you to the launcher then you try to play the game and it crashes well you are at the point I am at right now. Finally, you should have a .log or some kind of txt file in your WINE directory that they use for a log. Do what I said above and if it does not work than hunt down the log file and copy/paste your error code here. I can try to walk you through any error code you get because I had nearly a two page list I wrote down last night getting it set up. Unless it is the current error code I am stuck on than it's hurry up and wait until I can figure out exactly what is causing it. |
