Description
Our project is a Survival, Top down video game that takes place in a forest. The main character is a Microtus Cabrerae (an endangered species), which aims to find enough food before the day is over. Along your journey you will meet the fearsome predators that pursue you on your mission, these being known as the banzai foxes.
History
The Retro verse team started developing Phoebe The Microtus from an important theme, the path of animal extinction, we researched and found a very interesting rodent species called Microtus, a mixture of hamsters and mice, that inhabit the Mediterranean west.
The idea and the research gave wings to the project, thus developing something that draws attention and protection to these beings. We created our protagonist Phoebe, a Microtus cub who gets lost from her parents and faces the dangers of the woods and predators.
