As everybody is eager to see more about the gameplay, we’re back with some progress of it. But please take note that this does not represent the final work. We’ll try our best hard to make a better and even better game.
Attacks and Destructible Environment Testing
As mentioned in the previous update, we’re testing how character would be able to cause destruction to her surrounding, not just adjacent object, but also to the background. There’ll be two types of attack, Hit and Smash, and the one who can cause damage to the background is Smash. Some combo will also consist of the series of combination of Hit and Smash attack. And for today’s shoutout, let’s have a toast celebrating Yanim Studio’s Red Goddess success! They just got funded day ago, and now they’re working on toward the stretch goals~
So what is Red Goddess, in a nutshell, it is a side-scrolling action-adventure game. Though having some uniqueness to Pale Blue, we found it having some similarities too! Explore a mysterious planet controlled by the psyche of the main character. It’s a ‘metroidvania’ and planned to be launched on PC, MAC, Linux, PS4, PSVita, and WiiU. The gameplay boasts a couple of original mechanics such as ‘split character’ and ‘enter the mind of enemies’. In case you’re interested, please do visit their campaign here~
