Nightmare Island starts off when you the hero of the game are forced to crash land on an island. It's here where your adventure starts, as you regain consciousness and try to make sense of your surroundings, you see a radio tower in the distance and decide if you have any chance of rescue you must get there and contact someone, to do this you will be faced with three paths, will you take the beach path, head through the jungle or enter the cliff face cave? the paths represent the game difficulty and the game aim is to reach the tower and summon a rescue. Along each path you will be given certain challenges set by creatures that rule over the island, will you can you end the nightmare!. Made with Bloodshed DevC++ in 2010 we have decided to show the community and hope you enjoy it as much as we did, there are 3 difficulties which represent 3 game types so why not give them a try and let us know how you got on.

Just, terrible. There's no gameplay what so ever. Noone likes just reading a little. This game needs combat, actual story, puzzles all sorts of things. It's seriously terrible that batch games like these still exist. I make batch games and I strive to do better than this.

i love text based games, and i can alredy tell this is gonna be a good one.

There are hundreds of free text adventures that are worth spending your time on (google "interactive fiction"). This one's dull and badly written, and I can't recommend it.

Great game - takes me back to playing text adventures on my old Amstrad PCW8512!
