Mount and Blade is a 3D, open-ended, single-player, third- or first-person, computer role-playing game, created and distributed by the Turkish development house TaleWorlds. Mount and Blade has a medieval setting, without any fantasy elements. Mount and Blade is notable for its emphasis on realistic cavalry combat, which was common in the era, but is largely absent in most RPG titles.
Description
Taleworlds are offering Mount&Blade through a try before you buy model. You can download the game and start playing right away. What you download is not a demo, it is the full game. There is, however, a level limit at 7. When your character reaches level 7, you can start a new game or, if you decide you like the game well enough, go on and buy a license online. As soon as you buy a license you will obtain a serial key which will remove the level limit. You will not need to download the game again.

Holy crap yes. I've heard good things about this game, and now I finally have a chance to try it.
yea its one of the best games Ive ever played, getting boored with the original? try the mount & blade repository, always some fun mods coming out.
This game pretty much proves that you don't have to have a team om 300 people and a huge budget to make a great game.

These are the kinds of teams you support with money. I am shocked that you haven't had your post removed after asking for a keygen.

Agreed, I bought the game and I have no regrets. Its better than many games double its price.
just downloaded it, and played a little, but because I'm working on my on board vid card (my other one melted), graphics are all messed up. Right after I get my new video card and save up $30 bucks, though, i'm paying these guys for it.

it's an .exe file, so it won't work with mac if that's what youre using.

im downloading right now, ill post what i think after playing (finnaly, and RPG without fantasy stuff, which fantasy is cool and all, but it doesnt tend to have that gritty real feel...)

Though, for those that don't want to use up their money by buying it, have a look at the uniloader, I will be uploading it this week, so you can enjoy the game, without it being a trial.
Though for those that can't wait 3-4 days, go ahead and buy it.
so is the demo just like the real game with a level limit, or does the real game have more options? like more weapons, armor, factions, islands and more.

ur a ****, these indie companys deserver any money they can get so they can make better games, i got mine for $12 at eb games
in case you didnt notice, there are 3 types of people who play games, those who buy it fairly, those who dont buy because they are greedy or frugal, or the small percentage that dont have access to a means of getting games due to financial issues or parents. be a little more open minded to that smallest percentage

i know this comment is old but figalot for example I am 13 years old and I don't have my own money, my mother and father worked realy hard to buy this computer, and here in Brazil $12 turn into R$24 bucks so think twice before saying somone is a ****.

You can play mod on the trial, but it has the same level limit as the original game does.
