Medusa’s Labyrinth is a mythological first person horror game set in ancient Greece. It take tales and legends that have stayed with us for over 2000 years and mix them together in a game that blends horror with stealth into a unique experience. The player will have to carefully pick their path through the abandoned hallways on the Island, through winding catacombs and massive amphitheaters to solve the mysteries that lurk within the labyrinth.

The first part of our project is over and we now enter the prototype and content creation phase. Wish us luck!

Our team has completed the first three weeks of development, that we dedicated to concept work, planning and structure but also getting comfortable with the game engine: Bitsquid.
We now enter the first part of production, and aim for a white-level prototype by the end of the month.

On my part the next challenge will be related to the story: it's my job to construct an outline and make a storyboard in this phase. Later on I will work on the script and go into more detail, but for now I will do my best to create a concept that reflects both the horror of the players experience as well as mirror the classical elements of a greek tragedy.
