To tweak models we need to separate them. We find a free licensed knight model and just need the sword or the armor. The author only works with design does not need them separated. Is a think that maybe be useful but for games is a key aspect, often we need to have equipable armors, weapons, helms and so on. Separating object in to parts is a needed feature to have when tweak models for your project.
