MacroMetro is a Massively Multiplayer Online City Building Game. Players will have the opportunity to play the role of a single citizen of MacroMetropolis... but one citizen can hold great power. MacroMetropolis is made up of multiple player run cities, which are all started from scratch, and occupied by other players and their businesses. Teamwork and cooperation is the key to success. Everythign you need can be bought from other players. Everythign you make can be sold and used by others. Everything you do will have an impact on the other citizens. MacroMetro takes city building games to a new level. All too often we have seen small city builders where you build a single player city and the only interaction you get from other players is a quick visit to grab a reward. In MacroMetro you must work together! There are no single player cities, no "Click here to visit your friends city"... MacroMetro simulates real, living, dynamic cities, real competition, real trade.

It’s time to get MacroMetro’s engine running… but we need your help!

The idea of MacroMetro has been around for a number of years, but we’ve never had the time or resources to give it our all and get it done, and that’s just not good enough! Today we are launching a new campaign to get MacroMetro funded so that we can give it our 100% focus and get this beast in line for the success it deserves!

We have set a goal of 45 days to reach our target budget. Any small contribution will help, and if we beat our target we’re going to give a percentage of the excess to charities, such as Child’s Play and other worthwhile causes. We’re not greedy, we just want to get this game up and running!
