The board game Logaterix (it's modern name, Posunčík in Old Czech) was played by our ancient Slavic ancestors several centuries ago. It was played on the ground or on a wooden board and simply used stones of two shades. The rules are very simple and can be summarized in two sentences. The object of the game is to push the opponent's king off the board, which can only go up, down, left or right. Despite the simple rules, the game offers an insurmountable number of combinations and strategies and requires the player's combinatorial skills and sharp logical thinking.
