"It is bad but it is also just crushingly depressing that a person not only made it and charged money for it but also that he was successful enough with it to be able to make an entire game company devoted to the development and publishing of rpgmaker titles. It's tediously boring at best and depressingly bad at worst. If you need to see what else the game has to offer, here's a gallery of artwork I extracted from the game files to ward people off.

Laxius Force is an rpgmaker game that is part 1 of a 3 part 'epic' about a dude named Random Pendragon and his waifu Sarah Brandolino going around and having adventures and by having adventures I mean he bosses her around a lot because she is his elven ***** and even though they are engaged to get married she is treated as little more than property. Considering that this series is a sequel to a freeware rpgmaker title the same guy made known as Laxius Power which was about the same 2 characters going on a journey involving lots and lots of talking about just how submissive sarah is to random and the game just being in general super ******* creepy and awkward and ******, it really makes laxius force even worse since the story of laxius force is nothing but the characters mentioning and interacting with people from the laxius power games but without any actual new **** until the end when heaven gets a computer virus that is cancer and you have to go through a painfully annoying maze to deal with it so that your waifu can become part angel because the goddess of life/titmilk wanted to give you and your waifu something nice after a bunch of your characters got permanently killed by a guy with a sniper rifle out of nowhere."

A good solid game that will remind you of old school jrpgs. The characters are interesting and everybodys enthusiasm to do side quests makes me want to do them all.

Just ended up with this due to being in an indiegala pack and wow this is bad. It looks like some freewere RPG Maker 2000 game from 15 years ago some 15 year old that was learning how to program would make. Not that that is a bad thing but they probably weren’t charging money for it and it wasn’t made in 2008.

Getting past that the art that isn’t just lifted from RPG Maker looks like scans from a notebook. It’s not well done and looks half assed. Then there’s the writing oh god. Once you’re past all the odd phrasing and bad syntax you’re dumped right into the writer’s domination fantasies. Much of the game is generic blond self insert Marty Sue getting worshiped by his and I quote very submissive elven waifu. That’s not getting into the sex slave character, the whole wolf sex thing, goddess breast milk, the enemies randomly commenting on how ‘yummy’ the elf is, and random bikinis.

What I find curious is the fact it was made in 2008. It very much has the feel of that 1997-2003 time period where a lot of people were going through that whole young anime fan/anime becoming a thing stage. It’s a weird throwback in that respect and very anachronistic. It reads too much like a cross between bad self insert fanfiction and every bad anime stereotype that exist. The fact it’s for sale in 2013 and not a free download on an RPG maker forum in 1999 makes me think the writer hasn’t been outside sense Y2K to be this out of touch.

This game starts off horribly sounding like the erotic fan fiction of a sexually-depraved fantasy neckbeard, the frequent typos and awful artwork did nothing to help this. The RPG combat is fairly generic and is nothing to write home about.

I am amazed that the author had the balls to ask for money for this shameful display, even more so that there are people unironically willing to pay for this.

If you're looking for a serious RPG experience, stay faar faaaaaaar away from this dog turd. This RPG is only enjoyable after a lot of beers and the mindset of riffing and ridiculing the awful story.

I've played dozens and dozens RPGs, but Laxius series will always be special for me. Thrilling story and characters I'll always remember, combined with enjoyable gameplay. There are so many dungeons, battles, weapons and spells.
It's easy to play, but to discover its secrets, you need to try hard. And it's worth it.
