Last Train to Timbuktu! is a puzzle game about connecting train stations by sliding tiles. It has four great game modes, five difficulty levels, and an unlimited supply of puzzles. Unlike traditional tile-sliding games in which you move one tile at a time, each move in Last Train to Timbuktu! rotates an entire row or column of tiles. Race the car to Timbuktu, or compete against your own best scores in the challenge modes!

Last Train to Timbuktu has been out for a couple of weeks now, and a couple of casual gaming sites have reviewed it:

  • Gamezebo gave the game 3.5 stars out of 5, saying the game was charming with a clever mechanic, but felt a bit "samey" after an hour. Fair enough - it's definitely more of a coffee break game that you play for 15 minutes or so at a time. Thanks to Mike Rose for reviewing the game, and to Gamezebo for posting it.
  • JayIsGames posted a review this morning. They don't rate games per se, but only write about games that they like. I'm very happy about this because the author, John Bardinelli, had been following my game and purchased a review copy before I could send it to him! So many thanks to him and the other folks at Jayisgames.com.

I'll have some more news later this weekend about the upcoming Mac and Android ports of the game.
