Heroes Never Lose: Professor Puzzler's Perplexing Ploy is a hero themed action-puzzle game with a super-powered twist! Players go head to head lining up blocks into combos or chains and initiate their character's super attacks to bury their opponent in blocks.
The gameplay is reminiscent of other action-puzzlers such as Puyo Puyo, Dr. Mario, and Puzzle Fighter. However, the choice of characters affects the strategies and gameplay significantly as characters charge up their super bars to unleash unique and devastating attacks on their opponents, such as:
A Blizzard that freezes the blocks on the opponent's screen, causing them to lock to the grid and become a real nuisance!
... or an inferno that sets some blocks on fire, watch out or the fire will spread out of control!
