Fighting Spirit is a platform fighter at it's heart. Main focus will be competitive multiplayer and on the side single player campaign for solo/co-op will be made. Game is being developed in unity and it will feature rollback netcode (similar to GGPO) so multiplayer should be experienced very well. Core 1v1 battle will include dynamic movement around arena with platforms, edge guarding, complex mechanics for movement, self made combos, tag teams, projectiles etc.

Update of today's work. Made some fixes and changes on movement, rollback netcode is on the hold possibly for another week.

Today I worked a little bit more on movement. There were some bugs with collision detection (i have custom physics for now, because it might be easier to calculate positions in past for rollback netcode). Maybe this is not the best idea and i will actually change it back to unity physics in the feature if it proves bad and i will just have to really think on calculating physic related stuff correctly.


I might actually work a bit more on very solid and buf-free movement for next week although i wanted to start with rollback today. I will have to think on it.
