Escape Goat doesn't work anymore Thread - Escape Goat

After playing around with the display settings in the game, the "Play" button doesn't work anymore. The game starts and I can still choose different settings, enter the editor or watch the credits, but when I choose "Play" it just doesn't do anything. Please help!

What version of Windows are you running?
Try renaming your settings file to Settings_backup.xml, and running the game again. This file can be found in Documents/Escape Goat/Saved Games/Settings.xml.

Renaming the Settings.xml didn't work, but I solved the problem by deleting the whole Saved Games folder. Thank you for your instant help! I was really enjoying the game so far, glad it works again now!

If you are able to pull them out of the recycle bin, would you mind listing the filenames that were in the Saved Games folder? I'd like to figure out what causes this bug! Thanks for reporting and for your patience!

There were these files:

Prison of Agnus.s.1.save
Prison of Agnus.s.2.save
Prison of Agnus.s.3.save
Prison of Agnus.s.4.save
Settings.xml
