How the hell did you manage to do that and what would the price be, why would anyone buy the arcade version when the actual thing doesn't cost that much.

Actually I don't think it will take quarters. It'll have a slot for it, but only for cosmetic's sake. The benefit for us would be having exposure for Ensign in an arcade, and also just because this is cool!

Will the arcade machine be splitscreen?

I don't think we're planning on it being splitscreen. I personally liked the idea of having two joysticks like in the picture, but Jason Camberis, the guy designing it thought it would confuse people so he went without it.

I'll post a more up to date concept in our next news article.

I think the 2 joystics in this picture were so that the machine could also play our second game, Helena the 3rd with 2 players if people wanted.

Could Ensign-1 ever be split-screen? Like on the story missions(If they continue to be developed)? Or maybe even online?

It could be, do you think there's a market for that though? I added split screen to our last game Helena the 3rd and I'm not sure anyone uses it.

So yes I could put it in, since I made the engine, but I'd only do it if I thought it would be worth it.

I would play with that every single day. As long as one person could use keyboard, and another with the xbox controller.

Yea that'd be an option. Well sadly I'm at the point where I'm out of money, and everything I do has to be justified with more sales. So split screen isn't something that would happen until the project is well on it's feet, and I could spare a little time to work on extra features like that.
