Dwarven Brawl Bros is a local 2 to 6 player 2D-platformer-fighting-party-game with a retroish feel. Play as a dwarf and kill your bros! Pick some weapons thrown at you, think fast, and hit others with whatever you just picked. Each weapon has its own pros and cons as well as three different, separate attacks - and a special attack to finish off your target (or weaken someone else) once you have successfully hit enough with basic attacks. Smack them from behind and push them into lava or spikes for extra damage: let the beards hit the lava in a slow-mo gorey flight! Dwarven Brawl Bros is a brawler that doesn't limit your gameplay to class specific skills or weapons. All the characters can use all the weapons and you can change your style and arsenal mid-fight. The brawling is made non-restricting and insanely fun! 31 weapons, 38 stages, and 26 game modes!

Dwarven Brawl Bros has been updated with four team deathmatch game modes, and a "dwarven football", Dorf Ball, game mode. These game modes offer 2-vs-2 and 3-vs-3 co op matches with respawn and non-respawn settings, free weapon spawning, locked weapons, and team-specific weapons! Other content and numerous fixes also included!

Brewer vs Bureau: Team update is live!


Dwarven Brawl Bros v0.9.7 is now live, including new team game modes, other content, fixes, and more! You can get it on Steam and Desura.

Team game modes

Four team deathmatch game modes, and an experimental "dwarven football" game mode, Dorf Ball, were added with this update. These game modes offer 2-vs-2 and 3-vs-3 co-op matches with respawn and non-respawn settings, free weapon spawning, locked weapons, and team-specific weapons!

These game modes are:

  • Brewer vs Bureau (vanilla team-vs-team deathmatch)
  • Brewer vs Bureau, respawn (respawn variant)
  • Team Weapons (team-specific locked weapons)
  • My Trusty Weapon, team (team deathmatch with own weapons)
  • Dorf Ball (team brawling ball game)

Also, new outfits, for team modes, were created to recognize your allies and opposing team members:

Teamwork game mode collections

For rotating several team game modes, two game mode collections were added that include the four team deathmatch modes. The second collection also includes Overthrow game mode.

Bar Fight game mode

Bar Fight, a "spiced" all-vs-all game mode, was also included in this update. It is an unarmed-only mode with doubled knockback and slower movement speed.
