Veni, Vidi, Didici - (New, Noobfriendly, In Progress) Thread - Dominions 3: The Awakening

Well I saw not many games are being organized in this period, while some ppl complain about the slow pace of games in this period of exams & traveling.
SO I am curious to see if there are enough "dedicated" ppl left.
I use that term loosely, calling people "Uneducated Vacation-less Gits" seemed harsh.
But that's what im looking for... people who have the rest of their summer more or less free, and want to "Dom the night away".
So no travelers or students allowed, unless they have reliable internet connection or think playing video games is more important then their educimacation.

Technically speaking: I will always submit last, so stalling should be avoided as a whole.
When I die there will be a vote on #hours to set it, if none of the other players want to be the "last submitter".
Didn't work... actually failed miserably...

JK, but "committed". 1-2h a day seems reasonable to me.

K, I think we will wait for one more to round it up to 8... and then choose nations... so far it looks EA will be the chosen age unless 2 of the existing players feel strongly about other ages...

I'd like to join, I work this august, so not a lot of holiday time for me, however I might have to ask for a few delays during the week ends.

EA would work for me and if water nations are allowed I'd like to take R'lyeh, if not I think Lanka would do

I'd like to throw my hat into the ring. It'd be my first multiplayer game, so I will be easy meat however

Hoping we will start before 2 weeks. I set the player cap to 12, and accepted everybody except mattyburn7.

Recruitment is officially closed, unless someone else drops out.

Start choosing your Nations, or at least state if you want to take a water nation so i'll see what map we will use.

And i just noticed i missed Nerdzul's choices, having second thoughts now... finding a map for 2 water nations might be tricky.

SO im adding maybe Caelum and or Marveni to my choice (tho feel free to choose them) and will hunt for maps tomorrow as it is getting late for me now.

Ok, cant sleep... did some digging and I think we will go with this;

A wraparound Paragons map, with 116 land and 19 sea.
Kinda crowded in the water, but should work.

What say you?

I think the map may be too small. Isn't it for 6-8 players?

I suggest the Urrapparand map, it should support 2 water nations.
If we go with 1 water nation, I suggest the Riverlands map.
