Hosting Schedule - 28hrs First 12 turns (Quickhost enabled), then we can debate whether we want to increase it or not.
Number of Players - 4-7 (I want to keep it diversified but not too big)
Skill level - Returning players with little to no MP experience, new players wishing to try their strategies in a small game to see whether they can react to traditional MP strategies. Intermediate players, no to elites (Sorry!)
Expected Commitment Level - High commitment, I expect everyone to maintain a good commitment if at all possible
Age - Late Age

Independent Strength - 7
Research - Normal
Magic Sites - 40 (Default)
Money - 100
Resources - 100
Supplies - 100
Random Events - Common
Score Graphs - Off
Hall Of Fame -
Re-Naming - It's ON
Nation Selection - All open,1st come 1st served basis,
Map - TBD
Mods - CBM 1.94
Victory Conditions - Total Domination or Consensus vote among remaining players
Diplomacy - Non-aggression pacts can be broken but you will be reported on the thread so other players know (Can't think of another way to make it fair). Trade Agreements are binding, otherwise anything goes
General Rules - Do not go AI without informing people on the thread.
Disallowed Exploits - All banned exploits, I don't know many of them, but using communion matrices with shapeshift for example is banned.

should be about the right number of provinces and not too many water, so the water nation doesn't get a huge advantage-although he is in a good spot with no underwater competition.

As elmokki's has expressed his wish for his maps not to be linked I can only suggest to google elmokkis maps. His page comes right on top in my searches and has very cool maps as well. Probably most of you knew that already, but just in case.

thought about it. but we already have ermor to ruin the world. figured we didn't need 2!!

hmmm. I have tried to create a game, but apparently llamaserver cannot do it right now.

not only will it not put our game up, but there are NO new games pending.

I will keep checking back to see if I can get it to take the game.

p.s. when you create your new pretender, make sure the most recent CBM is enabled on 'mods' otherwise, your pretender will be rejected.

ok guys-

couple problems:

1-i cannot name the game Oktoberfest, it seems that name is now taked(due to my failed attempts at creating a game, I think)
2-on playtesting, I think rusty nails is too big for 7 players-its over 20 provinces/player

so...

how would you feel about using streamlands? its a well used map more our size

and...

i'll probably name the game Octoberfest, so llama will accept it.

Water races always cut down so much on map choice. How about Maerland by Elmokki? Also are we sure we want independent strength at 7? Seems all it does is give an advantage to players who take an awake pretender like a great wyrm.

Well, in my opinion, Streamlands is way too small for 8 players (we have 8, right?) - I personally feel that anything less than 15 provinces per player on average is unpleasantly crowded. Maerland is a little big, but I have looked through Elmokki's maps and have found no better alternative, so if we're looking for a nice, spacious and long game, it's a pretty good choice IMO.

We could also go with Land of Ethereal Squirrels, It would be only 4 provinces short of 15 per player. I know some of you (Henotheist) just played there and might prefer something else though.

And it's gonna be a bit cramped for the land nations. That game had 7 players and some of us already started just about next to each other, even though there was a water nation there too.

I also think Land of the Ethereal Squirrels is too small (LA Atlantis is amphibious but has a land start).
I'd use Maerland or stick with Rusty Nails (tested it with 8 land starts and it's rather cramped), and I prefer Rusty Nails because it's not so water-centric as Maerland.

It would be a shame to lose the name Oktoberfest tough, I had a good laugh when I saw it!
