I'll be showing deciBall off at a couple of events in the coming months. The first being the show for the flier above. You'll get a chance to play deciBall, and while you wait for your turn you are welcome to play along with your favorite noise-making App. There will be electronic music performances by drmlgcc and Bryan Von Reuter to help set the mood. Bryan Von Reuter and I will even be performing a duet, him with his toys and me with (dB). It'll be an up close and personal crash course in the sonic playground that is deciBall.
If you can't make it out for the show this weekend, (dB) will also be on display at an upcoming video art exhibition to be held at the historically awesome Children's Fairyland. If you don't know, Children's Fairyland is a landmark of Oakland that is said to be the inspiration for Disneyland. The event, which is called Magic Lantern, is a rare opportunity to get in to the park without a child as your chaperone. A number of artist's are coming together to light up the park after dark with a dazzling display of color and shapes that will make an already magical place, even more so.
If you can't make it to the Bay for either of these events you can always download (dB) from indeiDB, or deciBall.com, and set up your own shows. A new version will be available shortly. Hope to see some of you live and in full effect soon.
