In the latest update titled "Shimmering Frontier" which is coming Oct 4th, one of the massive inclusions was a mod SDK!

This update introduces an entire new biome to explore, as well as a whole host of new content. There are over 50 new pieces of armour and equipment to uncover, as well as new custom scenes, cattle, pets, boss drops, and more! Just make sure you keep your wits about you in the Sunken Sea, rumour has it there’s something scary stalking the depths of the ocean…and we’re not talking about Omoroth!

Our friends over at mod.io have paired up with Pugstorm to power the mod support update, offering players the ability to install mods directly from in-game menus. Mod.io supports small and large (up to 8 GB) mods that are hosted on the Mod.io website, work across all platforms, and are simple for players to implement.
