Cook, Serve, Delicious is a hardcore restaurant sim, one of the few in it’s genre that gives the players total control over where they want to take their restaurant. To do that, you’ll start with a few thousand dollars and twenty foods to choose from to put on your menu, as well as a host of restaurant equipment and more. Nearly everything is unlocked from the start of the game for you to purchase; this is your restaurant, and you must figure out the best strategy to get that restaurant packed with satisfied customers. Along with running your restaurant you’ll also have the opportunity to be cast in the Iron Cook television show, throw parties for offices in SherriSoda Tower, read virtual mail in your SherriSoda Tower Email account which ranges from game tips to crazy spam, from customers providing feedback to your restaurant to opportunities to being able to fund projects via “ClicknStart” and other big surprises! Good luck!

Cook, Serve, Delicious! was released for iPad 2, Mini, 3 and 4 today, and you can download it on the iPad App Store!
Thanks everyone for all the support, and thanks to Northernlion for the awesome video he made of the PC version. It's helped our Greenlight progress quite a bit, but we still have ways to go! You can find more info on the Greenlight page.
Thanks again everyone and be sure to update your Desura copies to 1.054! You have to do it manually via the installer on the right or using the manual patch.

The premise is good, but the implementation is terrible. Once you start a chore you cannot do anything but that chore until it's completed (apart from instant-serving of completed foods). Chores and some foods take WAY too long, and the controls are not intuitive or very responsive. (It takes >20 button presses to "uncork" a wine bottle. If you have 4 customers lined up to order wine, at least one will leave in a huff) The game offers to let you use a mouse to control the cooking/chores.. but in…

I bought it but can't download it through the desura client in 64-bit ubuntu 13.04, since desura claims it's not availiable on this platform, I guess I'll download it manually until then.
Desura doesn't seem to recognize Linux as a supported platform for this game as it is missing the Penguin icon next to the "Buy" button. If I buy this through Desura will the game be installable on Linux? Or perhaps there is only an external installer, no updates via Desura?
I bought it as they had the demo for Linux. Seems that it won't show up in the games list, but is downloadable through the sidebar.
Saving isnt working for me D:
Try using the installer under the "Purchased Downloads" section. I'm not sure why that would happen, but it seems to be tied to the Desura client.
Awesome!!! Was just playing Ore 2 a week ago and installed Desura just to see this!

I'm surprised to see that this is a game maker game.
Version 1.051 seems to replace the saves in your save file, instead of just replacing the EXE, if you select "replace and remove all unrelated files." This doesn't affect new users obviously but it does affect those with save progress. Please be sure to back up your saves in the DATA_otherfiles folder before patching. This definitely wasn't intentional and I'm sorry to those affected.
***BUT, if you've been affected by the patch, give me a PM here on Desura and I'll give you a free game key for the Oil Blue. It's the least I can do for all the mess. ***
Certainly a more than fair response. Cheers!
