(buried)

plate and basinet with great helm and mail? even in fantasy land, there's the concept of technological equivalence. why would people stick with great helms when bascinet helms and great bascinet helms exist?

your visual design concept is so ******* stupid as is your inability to imagine how warring factions in a fantasy/parallel universe wouldn't have generally comparable levels of technology.

sigh...

So wait, when were people creating a Fantasy/fictional universe ever limited by realism? Are they forced to trait their universe according to what the real world states it should, or can we do whatever the **** we want?

The answer would be the latter. That's the only ******* reason why people follow fictional stories and such anyway, because the world is too limiting.

Seriously though, don't be so ignorant that everything fictional has to be tailored according to real life to make any sense. Just like Lovecraft's works.

Besides, the only reason they have the helmets the way they are is most likely due to art direction, that's about it.
