You play as Jake, a simple guy who accidently got into trouble. What will happen to him, how he will behave, will he get home or not, all that depends on you. You will encounter a variety of creatures along your way, from roaches to huge scorpions, lizards and even small hamsters! Apart from living beings, you will see a variety of complex mechanisms. To overcome snow, forests, deserts and underground areas, you will require a good weapon. Though you already have that - a well-sharpened blade that will slice (almost) every monster. The game requires you to plan every step, so that monsters won't have you for dinner. However, if you stand still, the monsters won't touch you. The "Hardcore" mode won't let you sleep, though, it will require your full attention...

Hello, dear fans and players!

I am pleased to inform you that the development has almost finished. Surprisingly, we even managed to incorporate some Steam features into the game. The version 1.0 will therefore have:

  • Steam Achievements
  • Leaderboards
  • Steam Cloud
  • Steam Trading Cards
  • Some statistics

All these features (except trading cards) are only available if you link your BJtH-Online account to Steam. If you have no account, you'll be able to create it in-game. We have tried to make the process as convenient as possible. Unfortunately, automatic sign up is not available for security reasons.

Unfortunately, due to these extras we have to delay the game until 20th of August. The initial platform support will also be limited. The game will only be released on Windows, OS X, Linux and SteamOS on Steam, Desura, itch.io and IndieGameStand. The game will be released on other platforms later, stay tuned!

The price of the game has also increased. On the release day, the cost will be $9.99 (prices in other regions may vary).

We hope you enjoy the game. The testing phase is almost over, most bugs have been fixed and all necessary functions are implemented. The game was in development for very long, and it's about time it came out. Thank you for being with us for these 5 years (or a part thereof). I appreciate everyone's feedback and contributions.
