Berry Breakout

Berry Breakout is new indie game coming to Android devices. Help the berries escape the juicing factory and find their way through levels filled with crushing hammers, saws and enemies that will attempt to stop you in every way possible. Berry Breakout Will use simple drag-to-fire methods in order to reach the goal, collectables such as pips can be collected to obtain a higher score. The game will feature quirky graphics along with a comedy side to the story.

So its the 1st main update for the game, and a lot of work has been done in the past week.

  • Android touch controls implemented
  • New visual effects aorund berry when clicked (See above image)
  • Berry movement physics have been tweaked for more "bounce" off edges
  • Score system along with visuals is now complete
  • Anti-Aliasing has been set to 8x Multi Sampling for smoother edges
  • "Slamming Block Enemy" script has been written and tested
  • Visual effects of main berry now include trail renderer and glow
  • Reset level button now works on Android devices

Hopefully the next update will include 5+ levels plus level select screen.
